INNOVATION HUB INITIATIVE

Space for Collaboration. The most valuable piece of equipment you can give an entrepreneur and or Innovator is knowledge. So, as part of our commitment to Sierra Leone startup ecosystem, the idea of the national innovation hubs is to create the space and the enabling environment to incubate and accelerate several startups in Sierra Leone through the Hubs starting with the four cities. In these spaces, we are bringing together developers, startuppers, and the wider maker, entrepreneurship, and tech community to share their ideas, skills, and time. Bo Innovation is the first of the hubs set up to provide the space for problem-solvers.

STEM GARAGE is an innovative STEM learning center for primary school kids in Sierra Leone, launched in the city of Bo and aiming to become a franchise in the country’s major cities. It is a STEM education program that offers engaging learning experiences fostering critical skills necessary to thrive in the STEM field. We use DIY, play based and hands on model of education.

DIGITAL FABRICATION LAB

Contracted by the Orange Foundation Sierra Leone to provide management and operational support to the first state of the art fabrication lab in Sierra Leone. The Fab Lab in other words refer to the digital fabrication laboratory - a place to access state of the art modern equipment to play, learn, create, mentor and to particularly nurture the digital manufacturing industry. The Lab provide access to the environment, the skills, the materials, and the advanced technology to allow anyone anywhere to make (almost) anything.
